Sharing Requests & Benefits
Before submitting an Unshared Amount (UA) Sharing Request, be sure you know the UA amount you selected when you enrolled in your Mutual Health™ membership. You should submit a UA Sharing Request when your eligible medical bills from a single medical event exceed your UA.
Unshared Amount (UA) Sharing Requests should be submitted once a medical incident exceeds your selected Unshared Amount of $1,500, $3,000, or $6,000.
Request Self-Pay Discounts and provide itemized bills, and provider notes with your Sharing Request.
Reaching the UA must be within 6-months from the initial date of service.
Submit bills in a timely manner as you receive them.
Maternity Sharing Requests are considered UA requests and have a 30-day waiting period from the start date of membership to be eligible.
As a one-of-a-kind offering, Mutual Health™ will order a six-month supply of disposable diapers after delivery.
Member receives one case of diapers per month for six months.
